Emergency Management

Who We Are

The Emergency Management Agency is staffed by one full-time and three part-time employees of the Woodford County Fiscal Court. With backgrounds in fire suppression, hazardous materials, emergency medical care, telecommunications, and industrial safety, the team brings diverse perspectives and skills to the program. Staff are certified by the Kentucky Emergency Management Association, the International Association of Emergency Managers, or both.

What We Do

Responsible for coordinating efforts between all emergency response departments, including those in the cities of Midway and Versailles, the Emergency Management office is located in Room 12 of the County Courthouse. Office hours vary during the year, but staff can always be reached in an emergency by calling 911 or the Woodford County Dispatch at 859-873-3126.
